Hi all, just a quick update. I have been doing some more running but can't do as much as I like. Just been fast tracked through to my local hospital by my doctor due to bad headaches and regular nose bleeds. So tomorrow will see me having tests and hopefully getting an answer on the complete problem.
It's great to be online reading what you all have been doing and I hope to see some of you in the future when I am back to my old self again. Keep running all and above all else keep healthy. |

Hi Peter - Keep at it mate and stay focused on what you want to achieve, one of clubbies always says "Slow and Steady wins the race" or something like that, well its very true, stamina and endurance takes time to build, I'm sure you know what your doing BUT steady as you go and enjoy running when you can
good luck and keep us posted |

Good luck tomorrow...I am assuming you have had your blood pressure checked recently?

| Peter has an emergency MRI scan booked for tomorrow after seeing the Doctor today he found out his eyes were ok but that his problems may be related to a bleed in his brain. Once the result is known it may be off to Southampton for an operation or just down to medication. I will let you know as soon as possible. Peters Wife |

| Just got the news, Peter has a swelling on his brain probably due to the meningacocchal virus he contracted at the end of last year. He is very sore and has a constant headache but has asked me to thank you all for your support. Thanks Ann |

Just an update, I have had some results back from my scan. The specialist tells me that I have some scar tissue on my brain from the meningacoccal virus. Also some swelling causing a bit of a problem with my eyes and terrible headaches.
I won't keep going on as this is a running site. Just to say thanks to all of you for your support. Peter |
