I've sent an email with some updated results a while ago but have not seen them posted on the Grand Prix pages...what email address do I need to use (I'll post my results on here as well)?
9th Sept. 2007 BUPA Great Yorkshire Run 10K 49m:43s (a new PB)
16th Sept. 2007 Mablethorpe 10K 47m:46s (a new PB)
30th Sept. 2007 BUPA Great North Run Half-Marathon 1h:48m:47s (a new PB) lol
7th Oct. 2007 Castle Howard Cancer Research 10K 48m:08s
It would be really cool if someone from the website would update my records in the Grand Prix to reflect these ;-)

Hi SODIron
I find it's best to send my results direct to Mat at matt@uknetrunner.co.uk.
Good results by the way. Keep hitting those PBs. |

Thanks for the info...
I've sent them there before but didn't get any luck and the email did not bounce back to me so it must have been delivered...I'll try again once more. |

Your results are logged on the website now Darren - apologies for the delay.
It may take a couple of days for the Grand Prix to update.
All the best - and well done for those results (you realise of course you are setting yourself a tougher Grand Prix Handicap for 2008 ???)

Thanks Alan....I see they are up there already...You're right about 2008...being a newbie runner this year I am making good progress, I don't expect that I'll be posting so many PBs next year...although with a little hard work you never know ;o)

It's getting towards the end of the year, so now is the time to check your standing in the Grand Prix, and make sure you have qualified for group 1 next year - you have to have entered at least 4 race results. There are a few team members registered for the Grand Prix who are a couple short - I know who you are, and I know you've been racing, so don't be shy If you aren't in group 1, you aren't in the running for a trophy.
There is also a few of you who have only got two 'qualifying' races. Try fitting in a longer or a shorter race before then end of the year to maximise your chance of winning. You may suprise yourself, and really boost your score. Talking of which....
Alex Wright is way ahead in group 1 with 212 points, and he is going to be hard to beat .... although not impossible! The next 6 in that group have only 19 points separating them, so there is everything to play for.
In group 2, Danny Farndon is giving us all a run for our money with a fantastic 273 points. But Stephen Price and Jamie Barry are pretty close behind, and I think we could be seeing some movement there before the year is out.
Don't forget - email your race results to matt@uknetrunner.co.uk - everything you have done this year counts, even if it was months ago.

Only a few more days to go!
I think we'll have a hard job beating Alex in group 1 or Danny in group 2, but if anyone has been saving up their race results, now is the time to get them all submitted and aim for the top spot (or at least ensure you are in the right group to be in for a chance of winning the trophy next year). |

Just like Leeds United last season - I'm heading for relegation!
Out of running for a few months following my wifes operation and I can't find a local 5k or 5 miler that I can do myself justice at before the year end ..... oh well !!!
These rules need changing! (only myself to blame!)
