Bren is looking for a short stage and makes sense to put us down in consecutive stages:-
Stage 4: Bren Stage 5: Alan
If possible.

Preferred 3, 6, 8, 10 or 2, 9 second choice
Any combination of 2 if it comes to it

Not fussed really - don't fancy stage 1 - Any of the other is fine. Happy to do the downhill at the end if no one else fancies it.

With Preso that's 11 and Aladair Macdonald has emailed to say his 15 year old nephew would like to run so that would be 12. If we can get another 2 runners and 6 people agree to run two legs then we could have two teams.
So far I think Alan & Ian have offered to run 2 legs. I would also be happy to do this. |

I'm sure more would come forward prior to the date (note: if a non-member such as Alasdair McDonald's nephew runs it would incur a £2 additional cost for a non-affiliated runner) - be good if he joined - numbers are getting back up towards the magic 100 which would earn us one extra London Marathon place!
I will do 2 stages if needed - prefer to see if more are interested and 2 teams would be great for competition - we need to be quick to decide if getting 2 teams in though as, like RNR, this event is limited to 50 teams.
I let the organiser know we would definitely be entering 1 team.

Oops sorry, it's two stages.
Just thinking that if I just do one, I'll be jogging back anyway - might as well race it if required.

As long as it is not stages 5 and 6 (unless you are planning on winning stage 5 - as stage 6 will start as soon as the winner of 5 gets in!) .... best allow yourself time to get a breather!

Zo and I would be happy to do any legs and double up if needed, though I think Zo would probably prefer to avoid stage 1 and would probably prefer not to do a double stage.
I'm happy to do stage 1 if nobody else fancies it - at least if I do stage 1 it means I probably get to do stage 10 as well, and that looks like a lot of fun
