Well done Brigitte. UKN will really be a part of the event, rather than just taking part.
I suspect we'll have more than 17 willing participants for next year, but this will enable everyone to get involved, even those who don't run. It will be a great opportunity for a UKN get-together.
Glad you may be Press officer too. I did think that more could have been done to promote the event within Norfolk and increase public awareness. I was surprised the sponsors didn't do more to publicise it. All of the Norfolk towns and villages have free newspapers and they'd be grateful for an article about the RNR (in amongst the reports of lost cats and people dropping litter!).
I went along to the RNR committee meeting last night...and just wanted to say that the Committee were very impressed with our feedback and thanked the club for taking the time to send such collective and detailed feedback. So well done everyone for taking the time to put your thoughts onto 'paper' and super duper well done to Pete for pulling it all together.
Some of our points were raised at the meeting and more will follow in subsiquent committee meetings.
Dips x
