The whole Ridgeway, 82 miles of it, over 3 days in Nov. It'd be great to get a few of us together to do this, if not this year then maybe next.

Seems like a do-able challenge although there may be a bit of weather at that time of year.

Oh no!! no no no! Why am I feeling tempted?

Might need to see how the Cotswolds epic pans out...but to quote Theo Profiterole....here is where I am at: Tempted but if I don't run will do the support.

So is it to be this year?

Matt - agree with Dips Beachy Head would be ideal training I'd most likely be up for this because even I could make their cut-off pace walking. Dips - did you see it involves sleeping on the floor of Leisure Centres? You don't even do camping, let alone throwing a sleeping bag on a floor mixed-dorm style!!

I must admit the night-time accomodation is not a plus point. Should be close enough for me to nip home at night though.

I see from RW that the race limit is a 100 (not sure if this is runners + walkers) so I think it might fill up quickly. All 3 stages are down as 27 miles - so they are 'only just' ultras! and they do not cover the whole Ridgeway, stops short at Barbury castle rather than going on to Silbury Hill.

It looks like at least 2% of the entrants will be UKnetrunners - I'm suddenly poorer by £99.

I want to do it but I'd enter as a walker then I can legitimately walk the hills and trot the other bits. Also means I could start earlier than you lot so could have a little chat as you pass and you can have the brew ready when I get there

I had a feeling you'd enter HW

LB - sounds like a plan!

Dips - sod the fence

I'm going to enter by post - it's a whole £9 cheaper, which I can spend on nurofen plus - might come in handy
