All first claim members should be receiving their UK Athletics Membership cards directly to their home addresses in approximately 4 to 5 weeks.
The cards will be posted out directly from UK Athletics - so I am unable to give a definite date.
There should be no first claim members who do not receive membership cards this year, so if you haven't received yours in the next 6 weeks then please contact me at: uknetrunner@aol.com
I will post details on here when mine is received to give an indication of their imminent arrival.

Hi,
No mine hasn't turned up yet either!
I was thinking about this earlier in the week and it looks like a call to UK Athletics is in order!
I'll update once I have spoken to them.
Thanks for confirming that it wasn't just me that hadn't had one yet!

Ok,
I've spoken to England Athletics their response was that:-
- The majority of the club members cards were included in the last batch file sent to the printers
- There was an error on the file so England Athletics had to re-send (which has caused a delay)
- They are expecting cards to start to be sent out (from that batch) from next Monday onwards.
So, cards should be received pretty soon (note: newer members who have joined since mid-July may not be included in that batch so yours will be sent by England Athletics later in the year.
England Athletics have ALL our members home address details, all members are registed with them and cards will be sent directly from EA to members' home addresses (note: second claim members will not receive cards - they should get one with their first claim club named)

Thanks for your patience on this one, Alan.
I don't reckon the UKA would win too many prizes for efficiency; a few years ago UKA managed to send out Coaching licences to Field Officials instead of the Field Official licences we'd actually applied/qualified for! Needless to say, that glitch was blamed on the printer as well........ |

Update: Very little to update!
Sorry, I can't give any promises on dates for cards - England Athletics have now said it was due to a "broken printer".
I can guarantee that all of our listed club first claim members have full registered details and paid up affiliation of England Athletics.
(With the exception of our latest 3 members whose details are bieng processed - but will be by the end of this month)

Membership cards are out of our hands - I update detils to the England Athletics Database, forward required payment - they do the rest. You are registered from the time your details go on the database with a England Athletics affiliated membership number - which I have full records of.
They said "they will be out this month" - I understand people's frustration but please don't post a message saying "I haven't got my card" on this forum during the rest of September - there's not much I can do about it - sorry!
And I can only pass on what they say to me .....
