Hi Folkes
I've been trying for yonks to get on UK network forum
at last i've succedded
I most sincerely hope you are all well
we're still cruising along, 320 races or so later, only difference is i'm now 51 & Phillip's nearly 21, he's a big fine lad and i'm so proud of him
and i'm immencely proud of what we've achieved, and I've not forgotten what all of you have done in your support for us
34 FM's now pb of 4:03 185 HM's pb of 1:43
recently equelled our 20 miles pb of 2:58
but were happy, i see some of you around , I'm glad when i see people running to know their still going , ability and speed matters not, it's about enjoyment and competeing and getting fit and feeling good
I think of you all very often, course if any of you talk to me at an event, and i seem quiet, i'm not ignoring you, my Phillip can be so very demanding - sometimes i cannot talk to anyone as he just won't allow it
oh well, enough of my woffle,

Hi Mick - good to see you back here & good to know you're still running.
Which races are you doing in the next moth or so? Is the "Humph's Hilly Half" (Bourton-on-water) on your agenda?
all the best

Hi heavyweight
I'm not sure at moment what we've got on
they won't let us enter officially, so we MAY, just follow on public highway OR may do as last year as gun goes off, go in reverse and see how far we can get before we A - meet lead runners - last year it was 9 miles,
and B - see how far we can get before we meet last runners and jog back in with them
which was fun, a lot of fun

Hi Mick,
Glad you've finally managed to get on here
Good to hear things are going well. I shall be at Bourton as well as Heavyweight so might see you there.
Will also be at the Gloucester Half which I know you did last year. It's a Saturday evening race this year so shouldn't be as hot as last year.
All the best. |

I smile when I think of commenting to you that I don't usually pass you (whilst on a early bit of the Rugby6 last month) only to find you zooming past me less than 2 miles later. Keep it up! |
