Right, I've made my plans for the weekend now:-
- I'll be getting there Friday (hopefully around 8pm) - I'll be camping at Lynnsport again - in a reduced size tent this year that takes 2 seconds to get up and 15 to get down! (Not staying packing a tent away 2 hours after everyone else has gone this year) - Staying there Friday & Saturday night.
I have received the final race instructions (also available on the Round Norfolk Relay Website.
I have received the pack of race numbers for Uknetrunner - we are team number 30 this year.
I have some hi-viz to bring along for those running in the night who don't have the club ones (would be helpful if you could indicate on here if you still have one from last year that you could bring along)
I have stop watches for Mr Timekeeper and timekeeping helpers - will bring those along too with instructions (and make sure they have good batteries)
That's my update - looking forward to seeing you there!

I have finally sorted myself out for this one and will be there too (plus one), although not likely to be around all of Saturday evening/night.
Training over the next few weeks will consist of gentle stretching & flexing of stopwatch finger.
Not sure if there is still a stage available to run? Happy to help out with cycle support on the early stages. Will have car with bike rack but unlikely to be bringing my bike unless it's really needed.
Have a uknet Hi-viz if any want to borrow (and save using a new one) |

I'm booked in to a Premier Inn in Thetford like last year as it's not too far from the end of my stage. Am thinking of spending some time on the North coastal section of the course on Saturday (although haven't worked out where/when yet). Will be at the finish on the Sunday morning too.
Alan, still have a hi-viz vest so I won't need one for my stage. |

Stephen - there will be some excellent racing to watch on the road between Mundesley and Lessingham!
David - I'll have my bike. Don't know what stage(s) I will be cycling yet (we need to collectively sort the cycle support allocations out), but you are welcome to use my bike if you are doing any support. Potential problem is, my bike has SPD pedals (but you can borrow my SPD shoes as well, if they would fit! ).

Taking that literally - you mustn't stop the watch at all, at least not until the end of the 17th! But I could be coaxed into deputising and recording the time for a stage or two if there aren't already enough deputies, and I'm in the right place at right time.

Hi all
Now looking forward to Norfolk after a year of constant injuries. May have to change my expected pace down to 8 min/mile if its not too late.
I will be camping the Saturday night this year, Friday too if I get all my work finished.
I will need a lift back to the start of my stage if possible after my run if there are any volunteers!
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

As per Shaun's request, if there's a UKNR Hi-viz available for stage 12, that'd be great. If not, I'll try and sort one out, assuming of course that any Hi Viz will do.
Not sure yet if I'll be able to make the finish, although I'd really like to welcome the team home. If I recall I wont be finishing my leg until 12:30-1:00 am.
Gill has offered to help transport Pearce and/or Pricey if this helps, as Pricey's leg precedes mine and Pearce' follows. Not sure if both is possible for her.
Please let me know if this helps and is needed of course.

I have spare club hi-viz bibs - so we can arrange to get one to you Wicked & LBM.
Will you be around on Friday night at Lynnsport for the team brief?
