More reminders:-
- For those who do not have their numbers yet (ie those who said they didn't need them sending by post) - I have them and will distribute them when I arrive at Kings Lynn tonight - may be around 9pm. Any problems being there at that time please text me (07920 547871) and we can look at other options.
- Please bring pins - I don't have enough - so please bring your own pins (or buy some on the way)
- After the race - although we have to sit through endless awards to City of Norwich AC (I predict they will have a good year!) - please hang around as you will receive a glass "baton" momento - it will save on postage for the club afterwards.
Exciting stuff! Just a few hours to go until it all starts .....

We have just had a pic come through of Shaun and ? (sorry I don't know you)his bike support?
The excitement is mounting.
Ian has had a good night's sleep and is heading for The Running Centre in Norwich for gels and socks.
We are going to be heading for the coast a bit later to cheer them on. |

| Only about 20 mins behind schedule so far. Everyone's run well but a few dramas - keys locked in a car, My taxi dropped colin off only 1 min before neil arrived, and mark's just taken a little detour! Heading for night time now with plenty of teams to chase |

Fantastic effort everyone! Really enjoyed the event and meeting everyone. I'll post an account of my stage later.
Results are up on the RNR site incidentally

full results are up on the RNR site - http://roundnorfolkrelay.com/
We finished in 25:01:01 - 23rd out of 55 teams and I hadn't realised that our final declaration had been for 25 hours, so we were only 1 min and 1 sec out from that..

That means we were only 10 seconds from winning the closest prediction prize - the winners were within 51 seconds.
Next year we must practice the baton changeovers - every second counts! |
