Alan

Reference the race number query, I emailed you immediately upon receipt of the number 2 days ago - to the email specified in the letter. Suffice to say, I have it anyway thanks.

Hi Ian,

Glad that you've got your number ok.

Checked my e-mail again (including spam) and no sign of an e-mail (don't you just have great confidence in the e-mail system sometimes!)

Thanks for confirming.

Alan

Hi Alan

Have also just sent text confirmation .....and just received yours See you in Norfolk.

Incidentally, I've just checked email and I did send to uknetrunner@aol.com, but I've just realised that if the domain extension should have been .co.uk, then it's my overisight

Howdo

Dead excited about this now. Going to be great fun.

Alan - pleased to hear it looks like you'll be able to take part. Disappointed to hear you won't be bringing the Canvas Castle though - Zo and I thought we had plenty of scope when buying a tent knowing no matter how big we went, yours would still be bigger

Zo and I are hoping to leave Loughborough about 3:30 on Friday so we're guessing we'll arrive about 6 to 6:30 (not a journey I do often so not sure how long it will take). Do we need to tell Lynnsport that we are camping, or do we just arrive and tell them we are with UKNR and come and find the rest of you?

Pete, you need to book your tent in if you have not already done so.

Claire, just ring me when you arrive and I will tell you where we are as I will be following the race. BUT you will know from my text messages what stage the race is at...remember our text exchange the other night? Hummm!

ALL this information in on the RNR website. http://www.roundnorfolkrelay.com/

If you look at the stage information at the top of the page it lists petrol stations/refreshments.

There is also information about camping at Lynnsport and the catering available.

Alan, Viagra doesn't always work. Have just spoken to Pearce he will text me tonight when he has checked that his number is there.

If anyone would like to bed down/pitch/erect a tent for a couple of hours at Scole.... Matt and Fishy have been doing a bit of research.

I, with LB, am hoping to leave Brighton about 2pm so aiming to get to KL about 6ish. All rests on me escaping from work at lunch time, flipping Risk Assessment meeting in the morning!

I'm left wondering how Dips knows Pearce knows Viagra doesn't always work?

Less fat, more fit, but still hedonistic

That's exactly what I thought. Makes you wonder what sort of reputation Dips is developing....

Dips - thanks. I had searched the website and not seen it, but have now found the instructions on camping. I've booked us in.

Also, just seen on the website that it is predicted we will finish 21st out of 55, and beat the three F**** teams. Which is good. Shall we not bother with the running, pat ourselves on the back and have a lazy weekend celebrating our combined hypothetical speed?

LOL Pete

But agree with Matt, got to do the physical bit - all part of the fun.

Reference Dips comment about Pearce. He's already been cited in a potential paternity battle with Linsfella and now he's an expert on Viagara

I will be getting to KL a little earlier than I had first thought - probably around 7-7:30pm - staying in a localish pub on the Friday evening. Told J we were booked into the prestigous Vaux Hall for Saturday night - unfortunately she wasn't impressed.
