HW...as Timekeeper I would hope that you won't be far away otherwise we might be in trouble! Ask Fishy about the plush overnight accomodation he used last year and I can highly recommend chips chucked in the car window for your evening meal.

I did indeed send a schedule out earlier this week, it is just a case of changing the start time to 8.30 then you will get the updated version. I will however send a further one in a minute.

I received an email from the RO last night, he has been reading our forum. He can confirm that he will not be changing his mind about bike support for stages 3 and 5.

Thanks for the schedule, looks like Wells for lunch then.

I have shirked delegated (try it ) some of my timekeeping duties - so I will get some sleep before I run - just a matter of where it will be.

Our 2 x rotating yellow lights have arrived in the post today - I have tested one and it works fine (ebay bargain - and brand new!)

We have 2 in case we have any accidents this year .....

I'll be bringing them on Friday to Kings Lynn to pass over to Brigitte.

Another box ticked!

The second light can go on the timekeepers car so I can have a couple of comfort breaks during the night....timekeeper can then take over the support for 20 mins or so.

although i enjoy 0500 running I'm looking forward to the 0830 start I'm also hoping that the sign posts giving directions are better this year, especially after the pumping station (stage 1) BUT I do know where I went wrong last year and i'm so gonna do better this year

the Xcountry part is tough BUT not as tough as the sea bank mara, so i'll not be needing a snorkle this time around

Cheers Bill, I remember now. It was because you were supporting me That I ran on the road so the path didn't register with me. The pink elephants were probably blocking the path anyway. I hate running on paths anyway. Far too dangerous with cars cutting across your path reversing out of driveways.

Matt, don't cross the road.

Dips, will my big one be needed for any support? otherwise I might leave it at home and travel a bit lighter..

Anyway ...I offered some time ago to do something about t shirts... but I have , courtesy of my new job, been a somewhat absent member

However I am off now for a week so if folk are still interested in something I will have to do it this week.

As far as I recall the thinking to date had considered a cheapy "hen" night type of thing with a club message on to identify us all outwith of our laps..... so I would need sizes , agreement on words etc asap .... and time to post them to someone who will be there friday pm!

Obviously being in Newcastle I am sure to be able to find somewhere to print tasteless T shirts at short notice! But it is maybe pushing it now...???

I see the Fetchies are proposing they will beat us by 4 seconds...........

Claire, don't believe all you read, I'm only a medium really.

I'm up for a t-shirt but don't ask me to design a logo cos I might upset the locals.

Seriously though, are we looking for a design just for this event, or one that can be used elsewhere? If it's for this event only then how about "Team UKnetrunner.co.uk. Grand tour of Norfolk 2009" You could then add individual names and stages as a list on the back and also add the names of the support crew.

Sounds like a plan Colin...good idea.

how about
"Team UKnetrunner.co.uk. Grand tour of Norfolk 2009"
or
"Team UKnetrunner.co.uk. Round Norfolk Relay 2009"
or
"Team UKnetrunner.co.uk. RNR 2009"

Perhaps with the logo?

Then on the back have
Runner
Stage ***

And on Support ones...
Support Crew

Claire,I recently ordered tshirts online using the link Lincs put on here some time ago. They were pretty quick to deliver.

You could always arrange for them to be delivered direct to me at work...cuts out one postie?

Let me know what you think.

I'm a small by the way.
