Anyone manage to get a ballot place? Lots of timing out screens at the moment!!!! This is commitment, in Wales on holiday no mobile reception so sat at the side of the road on top of a hill hoping to get through before my laptop and mobile battery runs out!!!!

The secure server seems to have toppled over and died under the weight of traffic. https://www.virginlondonmarathon.com/ballot/uk/ is the direct link for the entry form if you want to skip the waiting around on the homepage - this is timing out too though!

I'm fed up of trying at present - I get the same problem with the time out screen. I'll try again at lunchtime.

10% laptop battery left, back to the cottage to charge up in a minute and will try again this afternoon. Apparently ballot opened at midnight last night, which is a pain as i thought it opened at 9.00. Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks Stephen - Right found an internet cafe, powerpoint and wifi. Through to second screen of address details bugger timed out again!!!! Right not leaving until i get in!!!!

Dom, the site tells you to try later due to high levels of traffic . I would wait until tomorrow its not going to make any difference to your ballot chances.
