Well done Pearce glad to have you on board - hope you enjoyed your holiday. Things have moved on slightly (due to travel arrangements etc.) Would you be able to do a different stage - Stage 5 if possible?

Please could anyone who needs transport that I'm not aware of let me know. Likewise anyone who needs help with navigation for their stage.
One team last year had a 'baton' of a rubber chicken - any suggestions for what we could use as a baton this year? or is that just a daft idea?

I feel I should be doing more organising - but everyone seems content that they know (more or less) what they're doing, and I will make the assumption that this is the case .
So if anyone is unsure of anything - please post here or contact me direct.
Just a couple of points:
There is no water on the course, so it's worth carrying some or requesting a meet at one of the road crossings during your stage. We'll have water at the end of every stage.
Also worth carrying a mobile (and being contactable during the day!) - I'll distribute the mobile numbers (just waiting on Pearce) - it's worth having the numbers of the runners on the stages either side of yours at a minimum.
You have to pick up your number from the marshall at the start of your stage - so please allow time for that.
Everyone happy about the navigation of their stage?
Anything I've missed? Anyone out there? |
