Hi
It was great to meet so many of you yesterday at the Not the Roman IX.
I am not a runner, just a runner's widow!
I am happy to support the club in any way I can just as long as you don't ask me to run.
Ian's life seems to be dominated by his running at the moment so I guess I need to get involved, or just accept my lot as a runner's widow!
I am sure you will all see me about at races, carrying Ian's gear and a camera. I just need to learn how to use the camera!!! I only got two pics this time, Pricey with the bus, and one of Ian that makes him look like he has no hair!

As I say, I will be here in the background so if anyone can think of anything useful I can do either admin wise or on race days please just shout.

Gill

Hi Gill,

Was good to see you there and thanks for keeping Mrs P company. I'm sure she can empathise with you about my life being dominated by running and learning to use the camera. She's pretty good at that now, so maybe you could exchange tips at future events.

Not sure what camera you have but ours has a "multiburst" function which takes 5 photos in a row. With this switched on, it's usually possible to get a couple of good shots.

Look forward to meeting both you & LBM again in the future

Hi Gill I can only apologise as I have no idea who I met after the 1st four faces yesterday unless the post run photos make it obvious!

The support you provide can only be much appreciated by both your OH and the rest of us. It's great to hear and OH so willing to be involved (same to Mrs P)

Thanks

Hi Gill

Great to have your support for all of us on here - if nothing else then photos and cheers are always appreciated, so thanks very much.

I doubt it Dave. I haven't run seriously since I was at school, I did run for Norfolk a few times then!!!

Nearest I have got in recent years was buying a decent pair of running shoes , I did a little bit with Ian but held him back so much that I gave up and left him to it.

I think I'll stick to my knitting
