21st March 0800
6.51miles in 64min 22sec
Ave HR 148

This was probably my worst run for monthes, in the fact that i felt tired when i got up, tired when i was running and tired at the end, decided not to go too far and really was just happy to have been out and then got back without any injury etc, think that it is nothing else than a culmination of sleepless nights the last week and all the stress and tribulation i feel under on the job front.

I finally got the information through on other job yesterday and think i have made up my mind that i am going to leave the company i have been with for the last 21 years and start afresh, whether i am doing the right thing in these difficult economic times still not sure, but the offer is decent and i think that maybe now is the time to change and possibly if i don't do it now i never will and at the end of the day i want it to be my decision and not one which has been forced on me.

Hope this has;nt proved too drawn out for everyone, now i just have to go to work tomorrow and follow it through

Thanks for the support everyone....................actually i have changed my mind

23rd March 1830
11.54km in 68min 19sec
Ave HR 154

10min warm up
3 x 3 x 600mt with 2min rec and 6.5min rec between sessions

1 2.46 Max HR 150
2 2.46 162
3 2.33 169

1 2.36 168
2 2.34 168
3 2.26 171

1 2.42 169
2 2.33 169
3 2.27 170

It was like a weight lifted from my shoulders tonight although actually my weight is now down to 13st 2lb which is unheard of for me, my aim is to just get the smallest possible bit under 13st which would be absolutely fantastically over the moon.

Another good tough session although not sure on ave hr on each 600mt but really enjoyed tonight although a bit blustery in parts but dry

Good to hear you had a great session despite the windy conditions Ian. I guess it was a real stress buster for sure after your days of indecision.

I loathe having to train on windy days and was lucky yesterday, as it fell on my rest day. Today is a little breezy here, but not too bad.

Anyway, I'm glad you're full of positives now!

28 March 0750
14.29km in 83min 32sec
Ave HR 147

One of those days where not sure what to wear as it looked like rain at times but it was also sunny and bleeding windy as well. Anyway decided on long bottoms, long sleeved top and windproof jacket. An out and back with a little loop at the furthest away end, Into wind to start with for 45min then little loop and back and certainly picked up a decent gallop with the wind behind on the way back. This was a decent run again with no problems, really looking forward to the North Tyneside 10k which is only a couple of weeks away now, just got my number yesterday, just hope if its windy then it at least changes direction then it will be behind all the way
