14th March 0720 21km in 1hr 59min 27sec Ave HR 152 Up super early again this morning before alarm, dry but a bit blustery this morning, was'nt going to go as far but in the end went on one of my routes where once you have decided to go that way there are no short cuts, but other than a bit stiff in the old legs to begin with, this eased and very enjoyable run again although hr was a bit high, but put this down to getting under 2hr for this route for the first time ever. Weight loss is another pound this week, so thats 13st 4lb now

| An early morning h/m is seriously impressive Ian. Is the Thatcham thing likely to be a permanent move? |

Dave I've just been told i have got that job (will be for 2years) it is with the same company i have been with for years although a differant part, trouble is i have another iron in the fire in London which i am hoping to find out about this week which means it will be decision time, and at the moment not sure which way to turn-money is not the issue here it is to do with job satisfaction (honest). I quite liked Thatcham on my little visit last week and for running looks generally good, i would be looking for digs either in Thatcham or Newbury if i go for this one (whats the going rate there-do you know?)

| Always good to have options. There are some nice running routes accessible from Thatcham (canal side, greenham common, Bucklebury woods) - You have a PM |

Thanks Chaps
16th March 1830 4.5mile in 67 mins Ave HR 147 3 x 3 x 500mt 2min rec between each one and 6min rec between each set
1: 2.04, 2: 2.00, 3: 2.02 1: 2.21, 2: 2.10, 3: 2.16 1: 2.02 2: 2.04, 3: 2.17 Max HR between 166 to 170 Tough session tonight, times a little erratic, but put that down to the terrain and the loop i tend to do when doing faster stuff. Quite pleased though and no aches or pains to report

19th March 1830 5.5km in 32min Tempo Run for 20min Ave HR 163
About 3min warmup (i know not enough) then 20min tempo run trying to keep hr between 160 and 165 which once i'd got through the initial start and regulated my pace managed to achieve comfortably, and got through just over 4km in that time so again another positive outing and a differant variation on my training again.
On a personal note it looks like d day to day for me, i know its nice to have a choice of jobs but i have had terrible nights sleep the last three nights thinking about this and to be honest i am still not 100% either way but today is the day where i need to make a decision.
Still not had info through on other job although assured it has all been signed off i just need to see what the offer is, that means another poor nights sleep coming up
