Dips you know we would'nt watch you suffer we would be making comments as well.

21st July 1940
Queen Mary Reservoir 5k
22min 41sec, 3sec short of pb

.........oooooooooohhhhhh so close this time but never mind, lost it in the 4th km, 4.25, 4.30, 4.35, 4.43, 4.24, quite windy in 2nd and 3rd km but no excuses, good conditions nonetheless, good to meet Matt (again!) and Stephen for the first time

Good running Ian, especially given the windy conditions!

A pity you just missed out on a new PB by such a tiny margin. Same happened to Steve I understand. It certainly bodes well for both of you though in future attempts.

Nice 2 lap course with 2 wimbledon hills thrown in, tiring one minute climb each time but good to reach the summit without a break

Thanks Deano

8th August 0730
About 9mile in 84min 15sec

Absolutely glorious morning, clear sky but coolish at that time of morning so very pleasant to run in. Ran abit further than wanted to, as left gps down south so just ran with stopwatch and felt very tired in last mile but good run nonetheless.

Thats it until Friday now as off to Scotland for a few days

Back from Scotland couple of hours previous, and as it was a pleasant night this was an off the cuff run and very enjoyable and good to get back in the groove again

..........bit lost off with this as can't connect to forum at work now........anyway catch up last few weeks

15th August 6 mile i think 50min

Family came down to London with me on 16th until 25th although i was at work it was nice to come back to a meal on the table and a full flat bit cramped as its a one bedroom but hey ho, culminated in Thorpe Park on 23rd, great day and managed most of the rides. Anyway back to running on Monday 25th.

Aug 25th 7.42km in 42min 57sec

Aug 28th 10 min warm up
2km in just under 10min then 20min easy finish

Lack of any quality runs showed up tonight and calfs a bit sore. But now have 7 wks long distance training ready for Maidstone Half on 18th October, my first 1/2 for 2 years

August 29th 07.50am
12.85km in 74min 22sec

Nice sunny early morning start if a bit blustery, longest run for a while and it showed, quite tired at the end, and suffering a bit with what seems like mild sciatica in right buttock, not really painful just annoying at the moment, hopefully i am thinking this has been brought on by my shoes coming to the end of their life, so been up to Start today (Monday) and bought a new pair of Nike Vomero, so will see tomorrow night how i feel
