W/C 9 March TOTAL 39 miles

Monday TOTAL 5.75
Headed up to the group but Ricky was v tired an heading off an very few of us there. 3 of us headed out for a wee run. Mostly faster than i'd normally do but hey ho - not that far I suppose

1 mile W/U 9:11 (it was actually trying to work out where the hell i could go on Princess Street and how to find a bus I wanted!)

4.79 / 44:47 - avg 9:12 BPM avg 166 / max 177
8:51 8:49 8:49 10:28 (a slower one as we dropped one of the girls at her car an made sure she found it and some wee walk) then avg 9:49

Tuesday TOTAL 6.75
Bit of a belly and heavy legs today - just that time. So after an initial out along the road about 400 yards and back to the house for an attack of the David's I was mostly fine-ish for the rest of the day....
8:45 am 3.75 to work / 35:31 (avg 9:27 BPM avg 150 / max 166)
12:30 v easy Jog Scotland run 3 miles / 32:53 (quite abit of traffic light stopping)

Oh.... and OH has been to the gym again That's more times since Saturday than the 2 and half years of previous membership..... i had said on Friday I think that I was trading him in for Lisa on the joint membership.... must've had an affect!

Wednesday TOTAL 4.65

08:45 Intended around 4 but still got a tummy so 2.25 miles to work / 20:32
17:30 4.42miles / 46:49 / avg 10:35 (with big long traffic light wait )
BPM avg 144 / max 156
Group from work planning to run Edinbrugh 10k.
I got them out over 4 miles for 1st time in years for one of them!

Thursday
Decided to give running a rest today
17:45 Pilates - really need to get myself sorted to do another course cos it;s been good
20:00 Swimming 4 * 7 lengths (700m) - with friend who's trying to get started after pre-xmas op she did 4 * 5 and happy

Friday
16 miles / 2:26:56
Gone an left my doo dah at work so will update more details tomorrow. V Happy with this - up at 5:15 (maybe with snooze it was 5:30 ) to eat, sort pasta then back to bed for a wee rest before up at out by 7 then showered, at my dek and hyper by 10 - helped that work thing is cancelled an I no longer have to go in at 3am Sunday Felt even better than last Friday - think I'm getting addicted to this exercise lark! So hyper in fact this is me just thinking about bed after the pub - a few OJ and lemonade and only one G&T (1st 'drink' in 23 days)

The run details -
Avg BPM 165 Max 182, Avg pace 9:10, Splits -
10:35 (waking up and stop to pick up pennies I spotted) 9:19 9:17 9:22 9:23 9:22 10:35 (Bio Break - need to drink less before heading out unless I get up before 5 ) 9:02 8:30 8:38 8:38 9:37 8:26 8:39 8:57 8:28

Saturday
REST day - walked to work to get my kit and do dah

Sunday
As the forum is back I finally thought YES - get out that run!

Thanks LBG - I'm feeling pretty addicted at the minute! Good but definitely addicted

W/C 16th March Total 33

Monday 6 miles Total inc W/U and D
On the grass again (track hopefully be open next week ) I did some joggin walking in the recoveries

3 * .62 mile / 2:15 rec (7:20/mi, 7:18/mi, 7:02/mi)
5:30 rec
2 * .14 mile / 2 min rec (6:27/mi, 5:52/mi)
2:15 rec
3 * .62 mile / 2:15 rec (6:53/mi, 7:01/mi, 7:18)

BPM reaching over 180 per rep and down to about 130 in recoveries Max 192.

Hated the last run - legs felt like lead so surpised to see it was still as fast as first two

Planning an easier-ish this week cos Alloa Half on Sunday and 4 weeks of steady increase. See how I feel in the morning - I may walk rather than run to work tomorrow!

Tuesday
I didn;t even walk - took the car was in by just after 8 ans somehow still there 12 hours later!!
Recovery run with Jog Scotland group. Same route as last Wednesday 31:35 avg BPM 149

Wednesday TOTAL 8.8 miles
17:40 - out with Wednesday group from work. Same route in reverse over a minute faster - they seemed enthusiastic and not to taxed 4.4 miles in 45:30. Avg BPM147, Max 171

19:20 - drove home then intended to get out an try 4 fast miles. 1st mile felt like dodgy tummy an I stopped but felt immediately better so started the watch again, slowly slowly an decided to change it to 3 * 1 miles with about 4 min jog between - felt better as I went on 8:16, 8:18 (uphill), 7:28 (down and up) then extra wee jog home - 4.4 Miles.
Think I needed to drink more water today.

Trying to take it easy rest of this week an looking forward to Sunday's Half - hopefully PB number 5 this year if the weather holds! Pilates and maybe swim tomorrow then wee easy Friday REST Saturday an attempt at Zooom.....

Thursday
Pilates an no swim. Had slow cooker on so had to eat dinner as already going for way to long I think! Don;t think I can be bothered swimming now as feel quite tired - v busy head at work to which was fun (in a bit of a geeky way )

Friday Saturday
REST

Sunday 15 total
1 mile W/U, Half Mara Race then made up to 15 with Warm Down - had to stop anyway to rescue my mum as she has set the car alarm off an looked really suspicious
Race details in the race reports

Ha ha - Krissie! But you are averaging more points per race so you'll no doubt be back up there once we reach our 8 to count (or whatever it is however it works )

Was running late for the group as flapped about in work an had to go back after! Was;t planning to fully join in anyway just get my legs moving
Easy 1 mile W/U , joined the group for 2 runs totally 1 Miles - laps of football pitches fast short length steady long length then wee joggy W/D Was very dark and cold tonight - bring on the clock change!!
Grrr that there was a football match on so couldn't use the track that only opened finally on Thursday!!!!

Not feeling so bad as I did after the Lasswade 10 mile so something's getting better (or maybe I prefer V windy to V hilly ) Across the top of my back is stiff - like I was runny funny into the wind Other than that a wee bit achy quads and the rest not too bad.... we'll see if it hits me tomorrow!

Think this is going to be a tired week but I think I can still do well on Sunday and get round the 10k in PB time - just need to eat an sleep an hope work doesn't have a mad time an need me as 2nd on call this week
