stick in there, must be so worrying, but also great to share your feelings with everyone. Great news it's a boy! Lots of spare stuff from Noah if you want it

Ann... thats a very reassuring video. I am sorry that the baby and you have to go through the treatment but the alternatives where clearly very much more frightening for you all.It must be lot to gather your thoughts about.
I recall vividly reading a book when I was pregnant for the first time....23 years ago... this phrase struck me and has never left me
"from the moment of conception your entire happiness is hostage to your childs good fortune"
I think it is probably the most accurate thing I have ever read in my entire life. You are experiencing that reality now...as all parents do to greater or lesser degrees. It isn't easy when life deals your child a duff card and is so painful to witness. But your love, support, pragmatism and wisdom will ensure that he will cope. Hold on in there girl. xxx |

Time to pop in again an let you know all is well!
I have a bump - apparently it's not that big yet although lady in my wee running group did ask what I'd eaten yesterday an confirmed the belly was definitely finally bigger then hers
Whether or not it is big by other folks standards I think it;s enormous LOL I can;t reach my handbag on the floor while sitting at my desk - the last few days involved me standing up first to be able to get closer to the floor
Running has definitely stopped - after an easy 5k which felt fine at the time I had uncomfortable pelvic floor area which kind of slightly worried me so I've decided to back off completely and look forward to being able to run again normally
Other than that all's good - wee bit of back ache now an then, sleep starting to get a bit more difficult (usually due to the nightime pit stops but sometimes hips and knees achey) and kicks a plenty which are starting to give that alien look to my belly
10 weeks till I;m off work 15 till due date - which means there's only 16 weeks today till Christmas folks
Hope you guys are all well - far to much to catch up on in here but I will try!

Time to pop in again
I am now 34 weeks and 1 day pregnant and the bump - not enormous but fairly big and the wee man in there is fairly strong kicking me about now an then
Mostly I've been feeling great - couple of sinus infections but last one cleared itself up (!!! is that a pregnant thing - I spent practically 6 months of last year snotfested up). Unfortunately another kicked in this week and I;ve taken today off sick after not much sleep but starting to feel loads better.
Sleeping's been not bad and the pit stops aren;t too frequent I pretty much fall straight back to sleep and David spends a wee while just him and our dancing baby
I did suffer for a few weeks gradually getting worse till I could barely walk (more annoying discomfort and scared of hurting myself than actual pain I think - altho a colleague gave me a weird look an said I looked grey the day it was at it's worst!) The physio has said was an expisode of pelvic girdle pain (or symphsumthin pubis disorder) - however I had it back under control by the time I actually got the physion appointment and the pain has completely gone now phew! I was worried it would get so bad running would be out for even longer. I have since managed to run for a bus and tell myself off last week when I found myself running alon the road to the car cos I was late for yoga LOL
Anyways..... the birth pool in a box arrived, the midwives go on call from 3rd December, we've had the discussion (I've told him, he's kicked me) - Santa only comes to babies who are out before Christmas (and preferably before 24th too) but we're prepared to still be hanging on come New Year
Hope all are well.... lots of good training an racing been going on - I just can't keep up and forget have of what I read before I get to the end (that's my main pregnancy sympton - numptiness!)
Ciao for now x

Who is this lady?? do we know her Good to know you and the wee fella are doing great, sorry your a bit snuffled up tho. However, ya done the sensible thing tho and go yer feet up. Not long now tho, wheres that time gone...... however..... NTRIX is looming so if you can squeeze him out pronto and get yerself a couple of miles training in you'd be fit for that Seriously tho, take it easy, all the work starts soon. Youll love it.
