I submitted my result from today's race and the date has been recorded as 0000-00-00 which I'm thinking won't record as a result for this year's grand prix as it doesn't say 2009 in it. Has this happened just because the 2009 Grand Prix has not been set up yet and should I remove it and resubmit when it has?

Krissie,I think it will be because you have entered it on the 2008 data. Hold fire for a while,it might help to email Matt...he is the GP expert.

My banding has been changed on my member data page from 16 down to 15 but I am still listed as being in group 2. I thought that I was going to be in group 1 after being in 2 last year and completing races at the required 3 out of the 4 distances or have I understood this wrong.
I wish that the grand prix would hurry up and update.....I'm going to be at the top for the first time ever......even if I am obviously the only person to have done a race in 2009

Krissie - was reading the rules last night and they say 4 qualifying distances for group 1 - I thought 3 too so was disappointed. And as for being banded on my 5K time rather than my 10K time ....... well don't get me started .........

| I think it is still work in progress as everyone seems to be allocated to group 2 for now. |

That would be an accurate summary...
a bug in the update code meant that everyone ended up in band 2 - I've fixed this now . As for the seeding - you are seeded based on your best grand prix performance of the previous year. I consider this the fairest way of doing it - and yes... the rules page is out of date, but then no-one understands it anyway |

vslow, apologies if you're still working on this, but just to let you know, whilst [sarcasm] I'm ever so happy to be listed as band 0 [/sarcasm] my best performance is stated as 1:14:58. My best performance should be my Stroud Half time of 1:12:44.
If I'm going to be in band bloody 0, I would like my PB up there in lights.
cheers |

Nice work Vslow
Krissie - take a peak at the GP table now
Stephen - probably the first occurence of you hitting band 0 - I see there is danger of the table needing to be expanded into negative bands for you. |

LOL - I wasn't still working on this, but now you've pointed out that the seeding race on your profile is the 1st race you did in the lowest band, rather than the best race time, I might have to have a minor rethink.
I'm waiting for you to register a band -1 result |

Bliddy 'ell Krissie, 14 points on January 1st. What are you trying to do to us? I've just tried to get a fiver on you with William Hill but they say they're taking no more bets.
Well done luv and well done to Shaun for the 2008 result.

Seems fair enough after all it's my fault I had one good run last year
Having submitted my Jan 1 run have I forgotten to do something to get it counted or is it only the set distances that count? And so no points for the 30 K in Feb or the 20 miler in March, I did assume it wouldn't attract a PB bonus?
And Krissie - good score

| I think it's only races that are listed as PBs on your profile that are eligible for Grand Prix points. Your NYD race and the 30k won't count, but the 20m will. |
