Oh no!! deano, you know how you are best, but maybe if your suffering.... a weekend off maybe? Whatever you do mate, take it steady...... "always another race" and missing a session or 2 wont hurt.

Just had a great sunday dinner after my race this morning.Didn't go to lincoln 10k,went and ran the weston 5 mile run and what a great time i had..i will do a race report later but just to let you know how well it went....

5 miles..--- PB by 6:45 mins time of 38:10 on my garmin.

what a great day.

brilliant run Deano. well done.

Maybe it's something about this weekend, but I went wrong in the first mile @ the Weston 5 last year haha

Don't think it's a particularly quick course (a fair few twists & turns + canal path) but it might be a nice local event to try.

Hi all, on 12 hr days this week so don't think i will get out for a run before Friday,as i only ran once last week it didn't seam to do me any harm....

Just got back from a short run,8.5k (45:48) 1k warm up 6mins, 6.5k run 33:48 avg hr 156 (75%),1k cool down. So all in a good run , its getting warm now in derby.
Try another 5 mile in the morning, got to get my runs in this weekend as i am on 12hr days again next week in stoke...
Should get a longer run on sunday morning if poss...
