Deano - so sorry that this event was not so well organised maybe one to miss next year and advise others to avoid too

I try to put runners off running Lincoln 10K, its a great event BUT the ending is just AWEFUL and could end up with tragety unless the local council includes runners in organisation cos several thousand runners + loads of family at a VERY small finish area is not good

no, no, no. This is the monthly Derby 5k and the organisation is (usually) excellent. The event costs £3 and for that you can run the Mile AND the 5k. Both races are out and back on a bike path. The mishap last night was because the usual organiser is off doing charity work in India and, seemingly, one of the stand-in organisers stood in the wrong place. It's just an unfortunate mistake.

A well earned PB Deano, not an easy course mate, great running. And lovely to see you today.

Deano - MASSIVE well done on your PB mate well deserved, Sleaford Half has one or 2 little kicks to it with the Xcountry and one or 2 slight inclines particularly the last one in the final mile run in and the final Xcountry bit for the finish

Great to meet up with you as well AND OUR club got a 16th team finish how cool is that , i must admit hearing OUR club name being shouted out on the tannoy on the run in sounded great

Hi all, thanks for the support ,to day is a rest day. Calfs a bit sore but other than that i feel great. Now had time to think about the race yesterday and the time i ran,i can take so much from this race to push me forward for the rest of the year..hopefully to stay injury free and happy. If your not happy then you will not enjoy your running...Goal number 1 for the year done.(sub 2 ). Next push for sub 45 (10k)..i hope...
