see....i get hit by a car last year and now you do your stuntman routine to beat it!!!!
i,m always wary of drives and entrances but it's a pity drivers ar'nt always wary of us!!!!
glad its just scratches and scrapes....hope you dented the bonnet!!!!
(i broke his wing mirror on a Jaguar....Trump that!!!)

Deano - I've had one or two near misses with cars coming out of drive ways especially at 0530 in the morning, I hope your ok and you used the bonnet to ease your fall

be careful tomorrow though as its then any tweaked, strained muscles may start to ache or bruised areas start to show

Hi all, a bit sore today but feel ok. Back to work this atfernoon so should be aright,thanks for the words of support.I will try to have a long run on sunday hopefully.. talk again soon.

Hi all, went for a run today, first one after the car..
found it hard to get going, 9 mile 1:23:43 ( 9:15 per mile ). avghr 161 not to bad. was hoping to get to 10 mile but ran out of steam. feel a bit sore now, so nice big sunday roast and watch the football...

Nice run today, 5 mile 42:18 ( 8:21 per mile) avghr 153..

the rain stayed away this afternoon so it was great, a bit muddy but steady..

Looks like no long lasting effects on the car drama then deano.

I think i am going to do a low key 4k at Bluewater in a few weeks on a Saturday morning, then i think its a couple of 10k local to me in North Shields one week then Blytrh the next. Still not sure whats happening at end of March on job front so don't want to plan too much just yet

Hi Deano... read back through your diary...An eventful start to 2009! 2 great races and car jumping!

Great 5k time..... I would love to think I would get a sub 45 10k this year but think that is too much to ask for from 49 mins ..... I much prefer the longer stuff!

Nice run today, 6 mile 52:35 ( 8:35 per mile ) avghr 149 which is good for me..great weather for a run today..have a great weekend to you all.

Nice steady run today, a bit cold in the wind, 8 miles 1:13:49 ( 9:10 per mile ). avghr 150 nice and steady.. lovely morning for it..

Nice run today, 5 mile (45:54) 9:09 per mile. avghr 146 very good...
Hopefully going for a 10 mile run tomorrow if the weather is ok. Snow is coming again on sunday so i will have this has a rest day...Hope you are all well

Great steady run this morning. 10 miles (1:33) 9:23 per mile.. avghr 148 very good around 70%.It was a bit slippy under foot.but nice and fresh around -2 at 7:30 when i went out...hope you all have a good weekend...

Poor run today, went for a 5 mile tempo run at (8:15 ish).I did 3.6 mile then felt a sharp pain in right calf, so walk for a bit then SLOW jog home..ice on calf then shower. 3.6 mi ( 30:13) 8:30 per mile..avghr 149 very good...Rest now for a couple of days..and then see how it feels..next run 22nd feb sleaford half, trying for sub 2 hrs.
