Good to see you last night Deano, and well ran. A great effort on a night when most people were well off their best, thus making your PB even more impressive.

Had a eventfully run today 7mi ( 1:02:45) 9:02 per mile avghr 153 around 75%...but the best bit was , i ran passed the gym car park and got HIT by a car coming out, i went over the bonnet and into the road.( its the quickest i have moved this year though the air.)Got up brushed myself down,( A FEW CUTS AND BRUISES )but ok. The lady in the car nearly had a heart attack seeing a 13st man flying over her car..slow last 2 mile home for shower and TCP...next run at the weekend when my bits feel better

crikey deano, I hope you're ok. I expect you had a good shake of the fist at the driver?
on a positive, if you kept your avg HR to 75% even with that, you're doing well

I swear this is going to happen to me someday. The amount of drivers that come tearing out of side roads and driveways without looking for pedestrians/runners is really concerning.
Hope you're okay though Deano and the injuries are only superficial. Take it easy fella |

Stop watching those Starsky and Hutch dvds!!
Seriously mate hope everything is alright, luckily sounds like no serious damage done, but what about the car
I think we all need to be vigilant on the car and bike front when we are out and about
