Sorry to hear that Deano. As Matt commented though, you should be able to maintain fitness via Biking/swimming. I think it's much worse if its your big toe incidentally.

Been back to docs,differant one this time anyway toes feel a lot better and she said it is not broken so strap it up well and keep on running should not do it any harm.. really happy now will look for a nice race over the weekend if i can find one...

Keep up the pain killers and i should be ok...

First short run after the toe saga, 4.3km 26:26 ( 6:10 per km) very steady. Foot/toe felt fine no pain yet so looking good.may look for a race tomorrow if possable...

Just got back from the best race i have done... belper rover 30km off road..not ran this distance before .. anyway report on forum..

time 3:32:35 is great for me up hill and down dale...and those cows are so BIG....ha ...ha..

VERY HAPPY WITH MYSELF FOR FINISHING THIS RACE...30KM.. brilliant....

Legs still very sore, but going for a rub down on thursday..should feel better by the weekend..ha..ha,
hope so anyway..
next race for me 10day time 10miler round a country park ( OFF ROAD AGAIN)...i secretly must like mud,grass,and gravel....

Got my number for the GER yesterday 104 for me this year... looking forward to this race the closer it gets...

Slow short run/jog today 6km 36:10..

good strong wind out there today....
legs felt ok..

Nice slow run today, 7.65 mi 1:11:29 (9:25 per mi )..
avg hr 142 (71%). Nice and sunny, very warm. Time now to enjoy the rest of the day ...
Legs felt okish, bit sore on ths ITBAND area...

It was a warm one out there this morning for sure, which pushed my pulse up a little on my LSR

Steady 5mi run today, 5mi 45:42 (9:13 per mi ).
Avg hr 145 (72%)..nice run but still very muggy, no sun thats a plus...
Legs feel ok..
