LSR 9 MI 1:29:32 (9:56 PER MI). The sun came out this morning for my long run, 9 mile nice and steady hr was very good 135 65% . breathing was a bit shallow and wheezy, found it hard to get air in . Weight myself 13>6 still need to get down to around 13 before my next two half's ( that is what i would like and will try very hard to get there as well ..
4 weeks until my next race 10 miler off road ready for notts half..
May go to doc's to see about chest if it does not get any better over the next few weeks..
Deano.... Always enjoy your running. |

Hi mate good luck with the weight loss, we both seem to have that target of getting back below 13 stone - I need to get to 12 1/2 really. My aim is to do it before GER as well so keep us posted. I really felt the extra weight on a hot 10 miler to day.
Keep up the hard work

very hard to get air in today, don't know why this is happening. I don't have a cold or flu so its bizzare..so two day rest then back to running again on Friday. Hopefully i will be feeling better by then..

The weather's been close here for the last few days too Deano, which may explain in part why a few of us are finding it difficult. It supposed to be freshening up over the next few days, so we should find it a tad easier to breathe easily.

You missed your morning long run Deano? What time do you usually start them on a Sunday morning, 6:30?

Good running Deano!
The rain let us down on Sunday too. Really thought we might get a drop or two.

Bad night for me, got up at about 3am and in the dark i walked into a cast iron door stop.Well it did stop my toes, been to docs he thinks i have broken my little toe.Its black and very sore should take 2-4 weeks to mend, don't know how this well effect my running program over the next few weeks but its a really P**SER, hopefully i should be ok for the robin hood half in sept..don't know what prep will be like thou.
we will see....door stop no longer there , some wear down the garden now....
