Great steady run this morning 7.3 miles 1:08:17 ( 9:21 per mile ), avg hr 156 bpm around 75%. Getting warm even now 8 am when i ran.. hope you all had a great weekend , well done to all you that were racing this weekend it was very hot...

Hi all , ran the NOTTS 10 MILER last night ,not as good as i was hoping for but a nice loosener for nexts week half..
10.04 miles 1:27:12 (8:41 per mile).
SPLITS. 1= 8:11,,2= 8:14,,3= 8:24,,4= 8:41,,5= 8:43,,6= 9:13,,7= 8:59,, 8= 9:02,,9= 8:43,,10= 8:34..TOTAL 1:27:12 on my garmin..
Felt great until the 4th mile then i got bad heartburn/stitch lasted until the 7th mile, then felt ok so i try-ed to push on but new it would be tight on my Pb time..just outside by 15 sec .
it was great to see Pete, Zoe, Jon,Steve and Mr,Mrs prices..well done to you all...

SINFIN CLASSIC 10K.
2K warm up 12 Min's. 10k race nice and steady after 10 mile race on Friday. 10k- 52:32 garmin time 4:47 per km.. 2k cool down 12:30 Min's.
total 14k (77 mins)..very wet and windy. it was more like a cross country race plenty of mud and water... great t-shirt..
ready now for a steady run next week at the humber half going to enjoy the run, no pressure on the time ...

crap weather this morning. Did think that those paths around Elvaston Park would be a bit mucky. Well done though now take it easy 'til next Sunday |

Got results from my last two races Notts 10 ( 1:27:18) Sinfin classic 10k (52:50). Went for a short run today 5 mile ( 44:20).. avg hr 148 73%..well went on the scales today st13.4lb, so much for me getting down to st12.7lb.by my birthday...spoken to my sports therapy's today and she said i have but alot of muscles on my legs so don't get upset you look better for it...
Looking forward to the humber this weekend ready for a nice steady run...

HUMBER HALF MARATHON TODAY. Very warm day so went for a nice sterady run under 2hr if poss, but if not no problem.full report on later
Garmin time 2:07 to hot for me ,i don't like the sun..

It's still a good run Deano
I think many of us suffered with the heat today. It certainly took its toll at my 10 miler too.

Very sore today from the sunburn i got at the humber yesterday, back of legs and shoulders.Did not get much sleep but after the sun care it should be OK. Hope you are all OK after the weekends sunshine..

INTERVALS TODAY. 6.8K 39:30 AVG HR 155.
5X400M WITH 60SEC REST,
1.62K warm up. 1= 400m 1:54, 2= 400m 1:42, 3= 400m 1:56, 4= 400m 1:52, 5= 400m 1:54,
all with 60 sec rest inbetween..
2.7k cool down ,
nice run today , legs and shoulders felt a bit tight from sunburn but ok by the end of the intervals...

5am 7k RUN. 2K WARM UP, 12MINS 5K TEMPO RUN 26MINS had a bad nose bleed after tempo run lasted 15 mins, so walk back home. Washed my top in cold water to remove all the blood, shower then bed. May be i should not go for a run after a 12hr night shift..

Went for a short run today just to get out for a bit,
6.6k 34:45.
800m warm up 5:00 5k tempo 24:45 800m cool down 5:00.
A bit windy out but all in all a good run .
