Just got back from a nice steady run 5.5 miles 50:41 ( 9:25 per mile ). avg hr 142 70%. very good..i am going to start a new training plan based on the book i am reading, this is 3 runs a week and 2 days cross training, not sure about the xtraining but we will see.. running starts with 1 day intervals runs , 2nd run tempo run and 3rd run long steady run. I will try this for the next 8 weeks and see how i go....

Great running Deano...I like being able to follow a schedule.I am currently reading Road Racing for Serious Runners. There are some good plans in there too, including one to improve your 5k time.
I've gone a bit running book mad lately

Looks like a good session with relatively consistent splits. Will be surprised if it doesn't benefit you.
