5miles @70%WHR = 41mins 16secs

Really sruggling with motivation for running at the moment, lack of sleep in past 72hrs REALLY is'nt helping, forced myself to run this session and it felt good, I may try a longer session this week as its what i'm missing, hopefully my sleep pattern will get back to normal

Thanks Dips, had Physio and it REALLY hit the spot and REALLY eased the dull ache ,I was beginning to think after all this time that I was imagining the pain BUT Physio informed me some people can suffer whiplash for a year or more

The Physio said there are 3 or 4 Vertebrae in my neck still swollen on left side (accident was in september!!) and when i gave him accident report and photo's of crash he said what quite a few have said, I WAS LUCKY to walk away (I know), I'm hoping this is the start of me getting back to where I was with my fitness, although the Physio said because of my training/running I'm in great shape anyhoo , I just want aches to be repaired so i can get back to 100% fitness and not 70% which i feel I'm at now

I'm on the mend and feel happier which is the best I've felt for a little while

not run related as such but feels great putting this into words, I'm lucky for 1 reason I'm a member of UKnetrunner.co.UK and proud of it too

15.50miles @70%WHR = 2hr 14mins 31secs

Having suffered a sever upset stomach (better known as the "DAVIDS" )all day yesterday, I wasnt sure how todays session was going to pan out, especially as I started off with a slight ache from the off, need'nt have worried as it soon eased off

3miles out and my MP3 player battery died so i was now alone with my thoughts, which is how I 1st started running 3 or more years ago

Although it was a cold breezy morning the sun was out and hardly a cloud in the sky, perfect running conditions

At 10.5 miles and passing my house I was amazed how full of running not just my legs but EVERYTHING felt full of, my WHR was just below 70% and i was'nt interested in the pace but I knew I could speed up at anytime, so i continued on my normal 5 mile loop

During the last 3 miles I noticed that I'd stopped sweating and although I'd taken Jelly Babies with me, I hadnt taken water with me, so as long as my HR didnt start to fluctuate badly, i knew I'd be ok, i was also wearing a baselayer vest which was still wet so my torso was receiving fluids but normally I take water with me on distances over 10miles

After this session I still felt as though I could've gone on and done more miles, no aches or pains, great session

10th March

Tweaked lower back/spine area yesterday afternoon whilst twisting and turning in the false roof , its the ONE injury that really prevents me from running , I'm hoping that it'll ease in a day or 2

Using TEN's machine on the area and as I have Physio on my neck tomorrow, I may ask if I can have a bit of Physio on lower back as well

It seems like 1 step forward and 5 steps back at the moment BUT I'll get there
