10.5miles @70%WHR = 1hr 31mins 04secs

Having had a huge slow cooked meal last night AND left over slow cooked bread pudding I was really looking forward to running this morning

I felt comfy throughout and with zero aches or pains of any type (touches wood ) the physio has really paid off as has the recent enforced rest period

I wanted to go further but stuck to my original target, great session really enjoyed it

15.5miles @70%WHR = 2hr 11mins 46secs

Having walked my boyz for a couple of miles @0700, i decided to head out to the countryside and churn out some quality miles

Really enjoyed this session although i did think I'll run 10.50miles as I pass my house BUT NO, i kept going as I really felt good & my HR was ok, i was also having to push on to get HR to where I wanted it, if I'm honest I could've run a lot further if need be, not at pace BUT at HR even though my pace may have slowed a little

2mora I'm gonna have a session with a VERY large hill at Grantham (Gonerby Moor)to really test my legs/thighs

HILL TRAINING

5.5miles @70%WHR = 50mins 50secs

Traveled to Gonerby Moor NR Grantham to do some hill training/running (anyone who knows this hill, its constant steep and nearly a mile long)

set off on the 1st of 4 reps and legs felt a little heavy so decided to try and keep tp 70%WHR as best i could, this seemed to work as I was able to push on during the last 2 Reps & still maintain WHR

Next week I may use Lincolns Bracebridge Heath Hill, I fully intend to attack Edinburgh Mara BUT the Sea Bank Mara is the week after which I REALLY want to attack and go sub 4hrs altho its a toughy

Enjoyed this session and had no aches or pains and really could've pushed on a lot harder

2mora may be an early run as my Jen has scan for cancer 1st thing so i may need to have some me time
