Wed 22nd July - recovery run - 3.87 miles - 00:39:29 - 10:12 - avg hr 70%WHR/151bpm
Very tired this morning and I nearly talked myself out of doing this but got on with it and I'm glad I did.

Today I find myself working for a different company, after the acquisition of the company I've been at for 9 and a half years went through yesterday. Still waiting to find out whether my job is "at risk" as the HR types put it..

Thurs 23rd July - rest
Enforced rest day due to all the sh1t happening at work. The good news is that I still have a job, but unfortunately many friends and colleagues have been made redundant. Not a good day.

Fri 24th July - 3/1 run - 6.02 miles - 00:57:35 - 9:34 - avg hr 73%WHR/155bpm
4.5 miles easy, 1.5 hard. Superb run and I really enjoyed the couple of heavy showers I got caught in.

Cuckoo

Glad to hear about your job but can't imagine it's a great place to be right now with others being less fortunate

Matt, pleased you seem to show no sign of ill effects from your pb run on Tuesday, good you still have a job but can imagine its not a nice place to be at the moment. Good luck for the weekend anyway

No running since Sunday.. quads a little sore yesterday so rest, and today's been a mad work day. Also the missus is in Manchester so I'm on double-dad duties

Tomorrow I'm planning a gentle 3-4 miler at lunchtime and then the Woodland 5 and a bit in the evening, which I believe Ian B is doing also.
