Ian...just to confirm that Alan is a bit stretched at the moment bit of an 'work life' unbalance but I am sure he will get back to you as soon as he possibly can.

Welcome to the club Ian!

Good luck with the marathon running!

Hopefully see you at the NTRIX.

I wouldnt worry about the UKAA affiliation - I've been a member of UKNR for over a year and havent yet heard a thing from them! I still enter races as a UKNR though!

and a "MASSIVE" welcome from me, really REALLY pleased you decided to join our/YOUR club, its ideal for those that cant do the every day club with week day meetings

you can post/chat every night or just once a month the choice is yours(i've said all this before lol)

start a diary and just express your feelings of your training sessions and you'll get comments from time to time and you can also comment on others diary's too

My Jen chatting to your other half was how you came about joining this wonderful club just goes to show how friendly the running world is AND the running widows

Thanks for the welcome Wicked and regards to Jen from Gill and I

I've already been quite the prolific poster over the last day or so on a few of the forums. I have already checked out some of the diary entries too. I'll look to submit something myself, if I can summarise the detailed record I keep on my Excel concoction.

I've checked out Fetch and it looks to be a useful resource

You'll likely have seen too that I've entered the NTRIX but unfortunately I can't now make the Edinburgh marathon. NTRIX is ideal, as it's about 15/20 mins away for us

I've had a great welcome already from many of the other members at UKNR so thanks to everyone!

Ian,

welcome aboard!

Apologies for my work life imbalance!!!

November / December have been mad months but looks like getting better - there is a light!!!!

As stated - as far as you are concerned you are a member of UKnetrunner - I will get your member number to you once I have a few more details (check your e-mail) and put "awaiting number" if number required, in the meantime.

Look forward to meeting up in Stratford!

All the best,

Alan

Thanks for the welcome Alan and the further clarification on club membership.

I understand the work/life imbalance issues, as I'm in a similar position, except for this week, due to me being in between projects.

I've responded to your email this morning incidentally.

See you at the NTRIX

Cheers

Ian

Hi Mick

I'm so very sorry I missed your post. I hadn't looked at the new members forum for ages and was just checking out any new members that had joined and spotted your post. I feel terrible now

Yes we did meet at the AGM. Gill and I spoke to you. I hope you're doing OK!

Hope to see you soon

Ian
