Alan is supposed to be doing the draw this weekend. I spoke to him on Friday, he has been having problems getting on line so hopefully he will be announcing the winner VERY soon.

Nick, you should have entered first time around it would have been yours to keep by now! Good luck anyway.

To be honest Dips I had resigned myself to not doing it this year so if I get in I get in. If it's not meant to be then so be it.

I may well be up for your birthday bash though!

Hi All,

I've been able to access the forum now - but can't access my mail - or club mail - which I need to sift over before carrying out the draw to make sure I don't miss anyone with intentions of being in the draw.

Looks like the draw for the final place will take place tomorrow now.

Sorry for any delay.

OK, GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS TIME!

Good news - I have now sorted out my pc problem!

Good news - the 5 people who wanted to be entered into the draw were in the draw.

Good news - Pete Stockdale - you are the winner of the third Uknetrunner place!!

Bad news - sorry other 4 entrants, better luck next time!

Good news - in case of any of the entrants not making the race, Helen Cross was second drawn from the draw so if any member needs to drop out and handover their entry (providing it happens by 9th January) then Helen will be the club substitute.

All the required documents will be sent to the lucky 3: Jayne, Matt & Pete this week.

Regards

Alan

Hey, well done Pete. Hope all three of you enjoy it as much as I did last year. It really is a fantastic event.

Yay!! That's fantastic. As mentioned elsewhere I do love this race () so I'm really really pleased to be running it on behalf of the club and I will do my very best to run a PB, defeat my 3-hour nemesis (as Dips has demanded) and do the club colours proud. Thanks everyone for the opportunity.

HW - Having looked around, the places running for charities that Zo would want to support have all been taken so she has decided to wait until 2010. This gives her chance to claim a spot for a cause she feels strongly about and give her the best chance of raising as much money as possible. And hopefully with my marathon demons defeated this year I'll be able to run with her next year in a ridiculous custome, make a fool of myself and raise some money in the process. Any suggestions of possible customes, even at this early stage, would be very welcome.

That looks heavy! And complicated. I can't figure out how it works. Would I be the gorilla or the cowboy guy?
