It's worth to keep on checking the marathonfoto website as new pictures are still appearing - this is my latest which I think pretty much captures how I felt at the time

I've also just seen the price of the pictures on marathonfoto. Not only do they take pictures when you look horrendous, but they want to charge you a fortune for it! Bliddy cheek!

Stephen, I have to agree. THe prices for the photo's are mad. I had friends and family down and following me around and the photo's they took are just as good and some are better.

The prices went up after the 2005 marathon. The company who used to take the photos and then sell them, were replaced by this new company who see marathon runners as easy targets for making a quick buck.
You used to get your certificate free when you bought 1 or 2 photos now you have to pay an extra £3.50 !!!!
And the frames to display your medals and certificates were around £50-60 now they are £100
In 2006 I contacted the old firm and they sold me one of their frames almost half price of the new frames. They are not as flash but they do the job.
I am also in the design and print business and i am thinking of designing my own certificate.
