WHY OH WHY were all the photogrpahers seemingly in the last couple of miles? Most people look less than photogenic at that point and virtually all photos I've seen of me are rubbish.
All the ones on marathonfoto are rubbish and then my charity, BHF, took one of me at their fourth suppport point, when I was in pain. I was feeling good at the previous 3 support points and gave a big wave and would've had a good picture.
Is it some kind of perverse conspiracy for supporters/organisers to get their own back on us for making them go out on a Sunday morning in the rain & cold?

I rarely find a good running photo of me anywhere. One exception was of Wendi and myself tramping through the mud and rain at the Duckpond Waddle last year!

Be fair now Dips there was that one of you and me at the Three Forts a couple of years ago. Remember the one - we used it for the Beginners Group to illustrate "If you run, you too could look like this - if you aren't very careful!!"

I loved the photo of me (on the club gallery) at the finish of reading half........ until someone said it made me look about 60 years old!!!!!!! Could be worse stephen i nearly fell over my own feet, stumbling all over the place i was and all because i was trying to straighten my club vest for the camera at Stamford 30k. some good pics of you on facebook though. Lazybones...... think you should post the pic of Dips.

It's a good one of the guy next to you though Stephen!
Great pictures folks. Just remember, no matter how good or bad you think the pictures are, they're still memories, and the camera never lies, it paints the picture that was there in front of it, whether you like it or not!!! |

You never know Stephen there may be some good ones still in the pipeline. The site shows its only 71% complete on uploading photos. There are a lot more of me on there now than there were this morning -they are still awful but then that's probably because Nell McAndrew I am not !! That one of you smiling and striding out effortlessly (?!) may be there any minute!! Keep checking
