Has anyone else noticed that UKnetrunner is now 2nd in the league of "TOP CLUBS" as regards members using Fetch and ONLY 5 members behind Serpentine RC, which being a London running club is a great result for our club
also appearing on the Fetch league is a great advertisement for anyone else looking for a club

I saw that too. There is someone on there twice though... So we just need a few more to register...

OK - sorry
I couldn't log on as mij0 and although I requested my password it never happened. So I set up a new id as Mij001. Beat me if it makes things better!

Not in the slightest! It is something I had vaguely heard about, but never got around to figuring out what / where it is. Now I know...

Steve - its a good aid to training and keeps you in touch with other runners and there's some fun thrown in too, Runners World bought the rights to the site recently as its FAST becoming the place for runners, only change so far is adverts so its still free to use
I still have a handwritten diary JUST in case BUT also log my runs on fetch as it has loads of info per training run also keeps millage for your trainers and a league of where you stand in training and much, much more. |

I guess I'll have to take a look at this at some point, though I reckon I log my runs and other exercise in enough places already: my PDA, Garmin FR, Garmin Training Cente, SportTracks (v1 and v2 at present, while I beta test v2!), this forum. Blimey, what an anorak!

hi Steve
your not an anorak NO WAY your part of the 7% of the UK that keeps fit through running, its good to be in the top 10% of the UK for fitness isn't it.
the FETCH website is a good aid and you don't download just input, if you have a running diary, Fetch is similar but with more detail BUT I know what you mean about recording detail in so many places, which can be an exercise in its self |

Steve - I ONLY hold my data on Training centre and sportstrack, so quite happy to put in on Fetch too. I hope this will help me get through the winter months still running.
BTW you can download an ie plug in (known as a hollybar)which give you download facilities from garmin to Fetch training log. See I'm an anorak too.
Also I've just got a new phone with Windows mobile so was thinking about logging there too.

Whilst I hadn't really found the fetcheveryone site that interesting, as a result of this forum topic, I have signed up to it to ensure another addition to the UKnetrunner club total.
Anything that helps publicise the club (and is free of charge to boot!) is good...... |

You're a star !
I dread to think what would happen if Fetch created their own "club" ...... although I have it on good authority that t would be unlikely!

Joint 1st
Our club is now joint 1st on Fetch and considering there are 12713 users on Fetch I reckon thats good going and I will continue to advertise our club on forums I visit
So if any club members havent registered on Fetch or not put your club details down then do so as Fetch is a perfect place to get Free advertising, it also ideal for an online running Diary which will record as much detail as you put in
I also think the wearing of club vest's at events is paying off too as in my last 3 races runners have commented on what a great idea an online running club is without the hassle of club meetings in the week |
